Many of you know by now that I have once again started a wStacey has an appointment tomorrow at a college to talk about starting up school again. He is going for his bachelor's this time, so things could get a little busy for him. He has been coming home a little later since being promoted to sergeant, but it is important for him to finish his degree in case they don't let him stay in because of his health. He went to the doctor last week and got some bad news on his back....he has another appointment coming up to find out if he has surgery to fix it, or if they just medical board him out of the Army. Hopefully all will work out the way it is supposed to.
I have decided to go back to school to get a degree to be a paralegal. It is something I was thinking about in Arizona and it is a degree that will compliment my master's degree and hopefully get me a job. If I am able to do this degree with only a part time or no job, I can get it done fairly quickly and get my certification. So, we'll see how it goes.
The kids both got in to James Irwin Charter School for the next school year! We could not be happier! The kids are excited too! We plan on staying in this area until they graduate, so being able to stay in the same school is going to be a real treat for them. This charter is a K-12, so no moving, period!!!
I found out a few weeks ago that I have gall stones. Probably because of my high cholesterol, but it turns out that I will be having surgery March 4th to have my gall bladder removed. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.
So, we're all keeping busy, but things seem to be falling in to place.....and that, my friend....is a miracle!
